Scotty is my favorite American Idol. I love country, his deep voice and his old county boy ways. Though I love all these things about Scotty, James is amazing on every level and I felt he deserved to win.
To say I was shocked James and Scotty were the bottom two is an understatement. As much as I didn’t want Scotty to leave, James was the winner in my eye, has been for weeks.
I was shocked beyond belief that James was voted off. Still am.
What was American thinking? The only answer that makes sense is exactly why I stopped voting for James the last couple of weeks…because he was so good he was sure to win hands down.
As much as I love Scotty, I felt he should come in second. Aware there are not as many country lovers out there, I voted like crazy for him, letting the rest of America vote for James. I have to wonder if everyone had the same idea. Vote for their second choice so they's come in second because James is going to win it.
As shocking and sad as it is, I would be even more shocked if James doesn’t end up a superstar. If he put out a CD tomorrow, I’d buy it!
If Scotty goes home next, I don’t know what I’ll do.
James, DON'T STOP BELIEVING. We Love you!

I don't think there was a bottom two. They just messed with the audience in the order they announced the top three. If you check DialIdol.com you'd see that each and every week Scotty was the only sure winner that week. They base it on number of busy signals when voting by phone. Not foolproof but Scotty has always bee number one.
James has talent but I only voted for him once. He screams too much and the last few weeks he was really pitchy. I voted a ton for Haley after the judges raled into her.
It's all so subjective. Just like writing.
I didn't know about that site, thanks. Good to hear Scotty wasn't the bottom two. I sure hope he wins. Did you see the video of him on my facebook? He's a Christian and not afraid to say so. Such a great kid. If busy signals counted, then I voted a REALLY lot!
I heard that people may have voted for Haley just because of what Randy did to her. But really, I think he was going to add some good but she kept cutting him off which I felt she shouldn’t have done. It makes her appear to be defensive. And really, I think Randy was right and I felt he was saying it kind of nicely until she started defending herself. And he had lots of good to say on her second song.
