I love books. Love to read. Love the look, the feel, the smell of a book. Being a visual person, the cover of a book holds great importance. It can totally capture my attention, or cause me to look the other way.
Another
aspect of a novel is a trailer. Though at times they can be disappointing, for
the most part, I like to see what the main characters looks like. Even if that means
the author posting pictures on their website of a famous - or not so famous –
person that they envisioned to play the role.
I ran across
the book trailer for Karen Kingsbury’s book, FIFTEEN MINUTES. Up until that point,
I hadn’t heard of the book. After viewing the trailer, I was hooked. It has to
be one of the best trailers I’ve seen, equivalent to that of a movie trailer. If
every book had a trailer comparable to FIFTEEN MINTUES, I have to believe they’d
sell many more copies.
What are
your thoughts on book trailers?

I personally dislike book trailers. But this one is so good, I'm editing my review to include this awesome preview!
Deborah,
I do like book trailers, but they often don't live up to my expectations. This one caught me by surprise. I thought it was excellently done.
Blessings,
Kym
